Owls are symbolic of wisdom and this has inspired this artwork. My experience with mark making in lieu of writing, and my art in a new style of whimsy, being patient with myself as I learned to draw and paint again, in a new way. It is in a street-art style.
I often see in different colours to the natural world and in shapes. I enjoy adding a simplicity to the story of the birds and subjects I draw on a more complex background. Portraying wildlife on it’s more complex habitat or ecosystems that include the elements we may not always see but certainly can. feel, like wind, light, sound etc.
